Why Item Upgrade Is Everywhere This Year
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item level upgrade, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you require an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a regular item upgrade. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next success result is repeated. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the Best item upgrade. The system is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that particular area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. When the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item upgrader kit is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. Also, when an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this will destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade item (official website).
