World of Warcraft - item upgrader mod Upgrading

The item upgrade allows players to boost the gear rating of an item by up 700 points and also give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like a perfectly broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons don't change much post upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Additionally some weapons come with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a single unit. This bonus could be greater than the damage that an upgrade alone can do.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity as well as its current level. For instance an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also alter the stats of their base. While this is generally a good thing but it can also have negative consequences too. Upgrades can make things unusable, unless you are very lucky.

Items of armor can also be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. This can increase the defense base of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These can boost their strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it may reduce its value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. However the 3% difference doesn't mean that it will strike for 3 fewer times because it's an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button that has circling arrows in the item upgrader mod menu. This will reroll an item upgrader and alter its stats but not reset the weapon's levels or bind it to account status.

Certain potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

The potion table is now arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as the potion of leaping, the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also be an object or ornament that has a purpose but isn't important, like a Thimble. In certain cultures, a trinket can be used to express affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be exchanged at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a new trinket. One can upgrade a trinket with as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will come with the same base ilvl of the older one, and have an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

When the old Trinkets are no longer useful they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded, followed by their secondary gear and finally other equipment that they won't be replacing anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). When choosing which items to upgrade players should take into account the preferred statistics of their class. For example when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers it is recommended that they upgrade their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and helm.

Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level once they no longer have value and the new trinket will receive an additional 1% upgrade bonus. However, a re-upgrade can destroy the old trinket, unless it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than buying a new one.
