When they are opened, they show an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
