Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE damage.

Components

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components inside them. This is often referred to as "upping". Each level of an item requires a different amount of components to reach, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets upgraded.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab of crafting tables.
